U2

Did you happen to see any Christmas Carolers this year?  Chances are - they weren't as epic as the ones on Grafton Street in Dublin on Christmas Eve ... That's where U2's Bono and The Edge were caught busking for the first time in three years as part of Simon Community’s annual all-star fundraising event to aid Ireland’s homeless.

The two were joined by other singers, including event organizer Glen Hansard of The Swell Season, Damien Rice, and Imelda May.

Bono and The Edge performed "Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way” from their latest album Songs of Experience, traditional carols  “O Holy Night” and “O Night Divine”, and a cover of Darlene Love’s “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)”  with Hansard, Rice, and May.

Another highlight of the event was Damien Rice's cover of Radiohead’s “Creep”

Listen to the first new songs from The Raconteurs in over 10 years

For the first time in over 10 years - we have new music from Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler - AKA - The Raconteurs

While they have only released two tracks so far - a full length record is on the way - via Jack White's label Third Man Records

White recently told Mojo Magazine: “We’re knee deep in the trenches of our first new album in a decade.  We have a vast amount of genre-pushing songs that bridge the gap between Detroit and Nashville rock and roll. The album sounds like a World War. It’s great to be co-writing songs with Brendan Benson again, the man is a song craftsman.”

So while we wait for the rest of the album - we can bask in the glory of the videos for its first 2 songs .... “Sunday Driver” (directed by Steven Sebring) and “Now That You’re Gone” (directed by Dikayl Rimmasch)

Rivers Cuomo responds to SNL's Weezer Sketch

There's apparently TWO things you shouldn't discuss at the dinner table this year ... politics AND Weezer

Check out the hilarious skit from Saturday Night Live (12/15/18) that pitted an old school Weezer fan versus a Ride or Die Weezer fan:

The skit caught Rivers Cuomo's attention ... prompting this tweet -

Maggie Rogers discusses performing in arenas vs clubs [WATCH]

Maggie Rogers is on the road opening (and performing a few songs with) Mumford and Sons for the next few weeks ... then she'll return to DC in March for two sold out shows at the 930 Club ...

Carrie caught up with our favorite Eastern Shore Native before she performed at Capital One Arena and talked about what it's like to perform in arenas versus performing in clubs -
